Sun Agrigenetics is a commercial Tissue Culture Lab based in India. Founded in 1999, and the first company to be both accredited by the National Certification System for Tissue Culture Raised Plants (NCS-TCP)  as well as having  R&D  recognition by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Govt. Of India.
 

The SAPL team  consists of 50 members  having experience in biotechnology, agronomy , extension services and nursery management. All team members are young & dynamic with  average age of 30 years.
Our beneficiaries and clients belong to all types of end users i.e. floriculture nurseries, farmers , cooperative societies, institutional buyers , agriculture universities and also researchers. In our state Gujarat, our tissue culture banana is grown in 500 acres, sugarcane in 250 acres and seedling plugs of chilly is grown in about 1000 acres by progressive farmers. Every year areas in our state with our planting materials either as the tissue culture plants or seedling plugs  is increasing by as much as 50% which is a testimonial of not only our quality but also to the after sale services that we offer to our clients.

Our facility  include a  3000 sq. ft of state of art well equipped  Tissue Culture Laboratory with the annual production Capacity of Over 2 million plants. It has 14 class 100  laminar work stations and 3 environmentally controlled growth rooms, each having natural illumination for excellent growth of in vitro Cultures.
Our hardening facility includes 20,000  sq. ft. of green house and 70000  sq. ft.  of shade nursery equipped with micro irrigation. It is spread over 14 acres of model farm near Vadodara, Gujarat .
